Today, we finished the conductor casing drilling. Monday we'll be back to drill deeper and start setting wells.
But the fun for the week was driving through the delta and seeing the wildlife.
Twice I saw a group of wild swans. It's really kind of weird to see such graceful creatures with dirty brown necks from feeding in the marshes.
The egrets have been amazing and pervasive. And today I saw three blue herons in various locations, flying around.
And the best part was today's drive back when I saw this strange thing out in the middle of a field. I looked hard at it and it turned out to be a coyote.
And tomorrow I'll get to pretend I'm an Elf. Yay!
